Porpoise Corpus is an exciting contemporary ensemble under the direction of Peter Whittingham Award winner of 2006 - Dave O’Brien.  Few stylistic stones are left unturned as they create compositions of logical yet unpredictable narrative, and improvisations of dramatic power and beauty.

The divided track Neverending, with its oblique re-workings and kaleidoscopic combinations of its two main haunting themes, brings full-circle a journey through the savage rock of “Predicted Consequence”, the urban funk of “Severage on All Other Lines” and “Blind, Insane”, the pastoral melancholy of “Out of Sight, Out of Mind” and “Silence is Gold and Diamonds” and the fusionesque pyrotechnics of “The Seventh Trip”.  The young band does a great job to lead the listener through this complex journey, by the clarity and sensitivity of their playing.
